We encourage you to take responsibility. Please check-in with yourself to determine if you are physically and medically able to participate in Othership programs. If you have a history of fainting this may not be the right activity for you. Drugs and alcohol have no place in this experience (…and you won’t need them, anyway).
The Othership experience is built around peak experiences that involve placing your body in hot + cold environments. Guides help facilitate your experience, but you are the captain of your own adventure.
At Othership, your enjoyment and safety is our number one concern. Staff and Guides are prepared to respond to incidents (like fainting) and follow a strict protocol of care. In the event of a serious incident, 911 will always be alerted.

Shower before entering the baths
Always sit on your towel in the sauna
Move slowly throughout the space
Keep your phone in your locker
Listen to your body and continually check-in with yourself

Holding Space
To Ensure our practices are as safe as they are exhilarating.
All ice baths at Othership are treated with health-approved levels of chlorine for sanitization purposes and with adherence to Health Canada’s regulations. Our ice baths are cleaned and maintained on a daily basis and our waters are tested manually every 2-4 hours so that you may chill out in more ways than one.
The Othership Crew is committed to creating a safe space for our community. We keep high traffic areas clean and clear throughout the day so that your experience may be deep and transformative. We encourage all journeyers to take responsibility for their experience and their presence - like placing used towels in hampers and discarding tea cups when finished - so we can build a community that cares together.
